Well, this is my first critique so hopefully I won't sound too unprofessional here. I also feel a bit awkward writing a critique on your artwork considering that you are one of my favorite artists and I am nowhere near your level of art quality.
Anyway, to start out, let me say that I have always loved your comics. But this one in particular may be one of my favorites in your gallery. You presented two absolutely lovable characters and told a wonderfully adorable story with great humor and a hilariously (excuse my unprofessional critique lingo) awesomesauce ending.
I also greatly admire your artistic style. Whenever I see your artwork come up in search, I always immediately recognize it as your own due to your distinct and extremely expressive art style. You present your characters in a very innocent and pleasant manner that simply puts smiles on people's faces.
I really can't think of anything negative to say about this comic to be completely honest. I know this was supposed to be a critique but it turned out to be more of a lengthy expression of my admiration of your work.
Anyway, in conclusion, you really have a magnificent and professional style of artwork and I hope you continue to make greatness like this! Now get out there and be famous, Mr. Awesome!
Summary: I remember seeing this long before, and I actually loved the pacing. The art is like always: great! The coloring really brings out the characters and the shading is top. It's hard to say anything negative at this point, new characters in new comics! Already the boy found his new powerful friend, and so quickly will bring you in to see more of its charm.
Backgrounds: In alot of the backgrounds, there's a nice water color look to them. And I have to say, the moons looks badass. Overall, they are aesthetically pleasing to look at.
Story: Love the whole boy meets un-ordinary friend. The reckless kid skips school, gets into trouble far away from home and realizes he's in trouble, only to be saved by a creature who has super powers! Then brings him home!
Characters: A rambunctious young boy and a bear wearing the biggest red cape ever who is cute even behind his manly exterior.
Yuuuss, evil has indeed been epically slain, which then makes this comic epic. Awesome work as usual synduo, love your style colors...well, everything really.
Man your comics has something so special and different I love them.
I like the thing about the boy who donīt want to go to school and meet this awesome character. Itīs full of fantasy, also your caartony style fits very well with this kind of story.
Dude, we need more of these stories, they are beautiful.
